WHAT WE TEACH

NRA SANCTIONED COURSES

ADVANCED TACTICAL AND SELF PROTECTION INSTRUCTION
Firearm Instruction, Responsibility, and Safety Handling, Safety Training, and firearm orientation program for new purchasers.

1. NRA full 8 or 10 hour course,

Instructor led or blended designed to teach you everything you should know about the  specific type of firearm you are interested in. Pistol/Revolver, Rifle, Shotgun courses are available by viewing the NRA.org web site, or using our contact page. Everything we teach in the 1st Step programs is expanded to all types of firearms in the category of instruction you are interested in.


2. NRA FIRST Steps,

Designed to provide a hands-on introduction to the safe handling and proper orientation to one specific pistol/revolver/rifle/shotgun. This course is at least three hours long and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot a specific rifle action type. Students will learn the NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; the particular rifle model parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; cleaning the rifle; and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the Basics of Pistol/Rifle/Shotgun Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, FIRST Steps Course completion certificate.


3. THE COMMUTER SHOOTING COURSE,

A four (4) hour introduction to tactical shooting while carrying a concealed firearm. You learn how to draw from a concealed carry holster, moving and shooting, retreat and shoot, recover from being seated to shoot, moving to cover, emergency reloading, clearing stoppages. Per person $125.00,  private lessons are available, groups of no more than (4).
